Friends of Blue Mound State Park is grateful to the sponsors, organizations, and businesses that have donated time or resources to help make the Horribly Hilly Hundreds a success. We couldn’t do this without their support!

Drawing nearly 1,200 participants and as many spectators and supporters, the event welcomes riders of all abilities to take on the one-day challenge ride of the Driftless area in support of Blue Mound State Park, in Blue Mounds, WI.

As the Friends of Blue Mound State Park’s major fundraising event of the year, the proceeds have provided significant contributions to enhance and preserve the park’s natural resources while offering activities and projects to improve the visitor experience.

If you’ve visited this gem of a state park, you may have experienced a few of our projects including the new swimming pool, new playground on top of the mound, mountain bike trail and equipment, trail signage, campsite upgrades, solar panels, winter trail grooming equipment, a 2,400 square foot ADA accessible all-season shelter and learning center, building of an accessible campground cabin, and other park needs.

Perhaps the largest project that benefited from the HHH was the building of the year-round shelter in 2013. It remains a one-of-a-kind for Wisconsin State Parks!

The FBMSP, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization works year-round to benefit the park and identify and nurture mutually beneficial partnerships. Sponsorship levels begin at $300. We welcome the opportunity to work with you and hope you will consider a sponsorship. For more information, email [email protected].
