WiFi at Blue Mound State Park has been available at the front office and can now be accessed in the Friends Shelter! Visitors can find wifi connection and password information on placards in both the front office and the Friends Shelter.
Wifi availability will expand to the amphitheater after completion of the rebuild project in 2025/2026 and at the open-air shelter at the top of the mound this spring.
The funding for this connectivity comes from donations and fundraising efforts of the Friends of Blue Mound State Park and a significant in-kind donation from the Mount Horeb Telephone Company (MHTC). The donation from MHTC supported both the initial fiber build-outs across the park and ongoing network operations, without which this connectivity and project would not have been possible.
